A highlight of the event will be the enlightening film “The Eternal Canvas – 12,000 Years Journey through Indian Art,” a cinematic odyssey through the rich tapestry of India’s artistic heritage, tracing its evolution from ancient times to contemporary expressions.
Established in 2011, the India Art Festival has cemented its position as a premier contemporary art fair in India, providing a vital platform for emerging artists and mid-level art galleries. Rajendra Patil, the visionary founder director of India Art Festival and President of the esteemed Bombay Art Society, articulated the festival’s mission, stating, “Our primary goal has always been to provide a launchpad for emerging artists and mid-level galleries, enabling them to access a wider audience. The India Art Festival continues to foster the growth of contemporary art in India and promote its diverse expressions.”
The festival will witness the participation of distinguished artists and musicians, including the renowned Padma Shri Pandit Satish Vyas on Santoor, S Akash on Flute, and Yashvant Vaishnav on Tabla, among others, enriching the cultural experience for all attendees.
A constellation of distinguished art galleries will grace the festival, including Artecious Gallery, Eminent Art Gallery, Rang Mirage Art Gallery, and Studio 55 Art Gallery, each contributing a unique perspective to the contemporary art scene.
The festival’s artistic panorama encompasses a diverse range of styles, from stylized figurative to abstract compositions, traditional flavors, architectural grandeur, landscapes, religious art, and wildlife depictions, ensuring a captivating experience for every visitor.
Standout galleries such as Kalastrot Gallery, Rang Mirage Art Gallery, and Speaking Art Foundation will showcase a carefully curated selection of artworks, promising to enthrall with their distinctive themes and captivating narratives.
